Grape variety
100% Sangiovese. Part of this vineyard was planted recently, and part was planted over
20 years ago at a density between 3.000 and 6.000 plants per hectare
(1,200 and 2,400 plants per acre). The vines are trained in a Spurred Cordon System.
Harvest
Hand-harvested,
in small crates.
Winemaking process
Soft press and destemming.
Fermented without skin-contact maceration and matured exclusively
in stainless steel tanks. Filtration and brief bottle ageing before release.
